When the parcel reaches the Riyadh lab it is logged, opened and inspected, and we come back to you with the inspection result before any recovery attempt. No. All of our work happens inside a single lab in Riyadh, and we have not opened a branch in Jeddah. What comes from Jeddah arrives by courier, and the device stays inside the lab through every stage of inspection and handling.
Put the disk in an anti-static bag, then in a rigid box with padding that stops it moving in every direction. Don't rely on paper or cloth wrapping, and don't power it on to test it before shipping. Include the external enclosure and cable if the problem appears on connection.
Yes, ship the full set with labels showing each disk's position in the array, together with the RAID type and any error messages you have. Don't start a rebuild before inspection, and don't change the disk order while removing or packing them.
Once the parcel arrives and is logged, the inspection begins, then we contact you with the result and the recovery odds before any step. If recovery is agreed, the files are copied onto a separate medium and shipped back to you in Jeddah in the way agreed. The inspection and diagnosis themselves carry no cost, and you are not committed to going further afterwards.
